The Supreme Court of India has issued notice to the Union of India and Government of NCT of Delhi on a petition filed by three lawyers on behalf of their infant children seeking seeking ban on the sale and bursting of firecrackers during the festival of Dussehra and Diwali because it further aggravates the already dangerous level of air pollution.
